It is a ceiling, not a target
The output is a planning ceiling for a defined test day. It does not replace a firm’s current rules, trailing-drawdown method, floating-loss calculation, news restrictions or platform controls.

Free planning tool
Turn a daily-loss allowance into a deliberately smaller planning budget. Use it before a prop evaluation, demo trial or automated strategy test—not as a promise that any rule set will be met.
Enter the rules that apply to your account. This tool keeps a buffer rather than assuming you can use every dollar of a loss limit.
The output is a planning ceiling for a defined test day. It does not replace a firm’s current rules, trailing-drawdown method, floating-loss calculation, news restrictions or platform controls.
For an EA or cBot, compare the budget with its lot sizing, stop-loss behaviour, open-position exposure and any simultaneous strategy engines. If the relationship is unclear, test on demo first.
Keep the account type, balance, daily rule, buffer, bot version, preset, symbol, timeframe and costs with the report. That makes later comparisons meaningful.
Use the planner with the backtesting checklist, then choose the correct MT5 or cTrader product page only after you have checked the platform, broker symbol and package identity.
This calculator is general information, not financial, legal, tax or prop-firm advice. Evaluation rules differ and may change. Automated trading involves substantial risk; a calculation, backtest or demo result does not guarantee future results or passing an evaluation.
