1. General information only
ExpertCodeFX provides software descriptions, technical documentation, test evidence and educational information. This material is general in nature. It does not consider your objectives, financial situation, needs, experience, tax position or risk tolerance.
Nothing on the website is personal financial, investment, legal or tax advice, a brokerage service, managed-account service or recommendation that a particular strategy is suitable for you. Obtain appropriately qualified advice where needed and make your own independent decision.
2. Market and leverage risk
Foreign exchange, contracts for difference, leveraged products and gold trading can move rapidly and may involve substantial risk. Leverage can magnify both gains and losses. Depending on the broker, account and jurisdiction, losses may reach all funds allocated and may exceed an initial margin amount.
Do not trade money you cannot afford to lose. Understand the product disclosure, margin rules, liquidation process, negative-balance protection and regulatory status of your chosen broker before trading.
3. Automated-software risk
EAs and cBots follow programmed logic and user settings; they do not understand every market event. Outcomes can be affected by:
- incorrect symbol, timeframe, volume, risk or strategy settings;
- spread, commission, swaps, slippage, requotes and rejected orders;
- broker data, pricing, contract size, tick value, stop levels and trading hours;
- platform updates, API changes, software bugs and incompatible builds;
- internet, VPS, device, power, clock or account disconnections;
- news events, gaps, illiquidity and abnormal market conditions; and
- simultaneous bots, manual trades or other systems affecting the same account.
Monitor any live system. Protective controls reduce certain risks but cannot ensure an order will be filled, closed at the requested price or prevented in every failure scenario.
4. Backtests, simulations and demo results
Backtests and simulations are hypothetical. They can benefit from hindsight and depend on data quality, modelling, spread assumptions, commissions, swaps, execution rules, settings and selected dates. They cannot reproduce all live-market conditions.
Demo accounts may use different liquidity, fills, latency, margin rules or account conditions from live accounts. A profitable backtest or demo period does not establish that the same result will occur live. Read returns together with drawdown, floating exposure, trade count, costs and the complete test period.
5. Past and reported performance
Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future performance. Screenshots, videos, account summaries and customer experiences may show a specific account, broker, period, configuration or market environment and should not be treated as typical or guaranteed.
Unless expressly identified otherwise, historical tests are not live account statements. Results can vary materially between users and may include losing periods, drawdown and open-position risk.
6. Prop-firm rules
Prop firms set their own changing rules on maximum loss, daily loss, news trading, holding periods, automation, strategy copying, consistency, prohibited practices and account access. A product name, test or description does not certify compliance with any particular firm.
You must read the current rules for your exact account and monitor compliance yourself. ExpertCodeFX is not responsible for challenge failure, account breach, withheld payout, platform restriction or rule changes imposed by a third party.
7. Independent testing and responsibility
Before live use, verify the exact broker symbol and specifications, run representative backtests, forward-test on demo, start conservatively and confirm that maximum expected loss fits your own limits. Keep backups of settings and review logs and open exposure.
You decide whether, when and how to use the software. You remain responsible for configuration, supervision, trades, broker selection, regulatory compliance and resulting gains or losses.
8. Availability and jurisdiction
Trading products, automated systems and marketplace access may be restricted in some locations. Website availability does not mean a product is lawful or suitable everywhere. You are responsible for confirming the rules that apply to you.
