Website and software terms

Terms & Conditions

These terms govern your use of expertcodefx.com, its product information, custom-development enquiries, educational material, support resources and links to third-party marketplaces.

Effective: 18 August 2026Operator: ExpertCodeFXContact: [email protected]

Important: ExpertCodeFX provides trading software and technical information. It does not operate a broker, manage customer accounts or promise trading profits or prop-firm results.

1. Acceptance and scope

By accessing or using this website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and the policies linked below. If you do not agree, do not use the website. These terms apply only to this website and services supplied directly by ExpertCodeFX.

Products linked from this website are normally purchased and licensed through third-party marketplaces such as MQL5 Market and cTrader Store. A marketplace's own buyer, payment, licence, update and refund terms also apply to transactions completed there.

2. Website information

We aim to keep product descriptions, compatibility notes, test evidence and links accurate and current. Software, broker specifications, platform builds, marketplace rules, prop-firm rules and market conditions can change. You must verify information relevant to your own platform, broker, account and intended use before acting on it.

Nothing on this website is an offer to operate your trading account or a promise that a product will remain available, unchanged or compatible with every platform, broker or jurisdiction.

3. Software licences and permitted use

Your right to install and use an Expert Advisor, cBot or other marketplace product is governed by the licence delivered with the product and the applicable marketplace terms. Unless those terms expressly allow it, you must not:

  • copy, resell, sublicense, distribute or publicly share the product or licence;
  • circumvent marketplace licensing, access controls or usage limits;
  • reverse engineer or modify protected software except where the law expressly permits it; or
  • use the product unlawfully or in a way that infringes another person's rights.

4. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for choosing your broker and account, confirming symbol and contract specifications, configuring risk settings, maintaining platform and VPS reliability, protecting account credentials and complying with broker, marketplace, prop-firm and local legal requirements.

You must independently backtest and demo-test software under conditions reasonably close to your intended use. You remain solely responsible for the decision to enable automated trading and for all orders, positions, losses, costs and account consequences resulting from your configuration or use.

5. Trading risk and no financial advice

Foreign exchange, CFDs, leveraged products and precious-metals trading are high risk. Automated trading can lose some or all capital allocated to it. Historical, simulated, demo and customer-reported results do not predict future performance.

Website material is general educational and technical information only. It does not take account of your objectives, financial situation or needs and is not personal financial, investment, legal or tax advice. Read the full Trading Risk & General Information Disclaimer before using any product.

6. Custom development enquiries and projects

A free feasibility review is a preliminary technical assessment only. It is not an acceptance of a project, a complete specification, financial advice or a promise that a strategy can be implemented profitably.

A paid custom-development project begins only after the parties agree in writing on the specification, deliverables, price, payment stages, delivery estimate, testing responsibilities and support scope. Requests outside the agreed specification may require a revised quote and delivery estimate.

You must own or have permission to use every strategy, indicator, document and source file you provide. ExpertCodeFX will not decompile protected software or knowingly reproduce third-party intellectual property without authorisation.

Where a project includes 30 days of bug-fix support, that support covers reproducible departures from the agreed written specification. It does not include new features, strategy redesign, optimization targets, broker or platform changes, or guaranteed trading outcomes. Orders made through MQL5 Freelance remain subject to MQL5's Application, communication, delivery and payment rules.

7. Marketplace purchases, prices and refunds

Prices, currencies, payment processing, taxes, licence delivery and marketplace promotions are displayed and handled by the marketplace through which you buy. ExpertCodeFX does not receive or store your full payment-card details from those marketplace transactions.

Refund and remedy requests should normally begin through the marketplace used for the purchase. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable rights under the Australian Consumer Law. See our Refund & Marketplace Policy.

8. Support and updates

Support is limited to reasonable assistance with product installation, documented settings and reproducible technical issues. It does not include account management, personalised trading instructions, broker guarantees, coding of unrelated systems or recovery of trading losses.

Updates may be issued through the relevant marketplace. We may change, suspend or discontinue website content or a product where reasonably necessary, subject to any non-excludable consumer rights.

9. Third-party platforms and affiliate links

Third-party websites, brokers, marketplaces, platforms, video services and prop firms are independently operated. A link is provided for convenience and does not make ExpertCodeFX responsible for their availability, security, conduct or terms.

Some links are affiliate links. ExpertCodeFX may receive a commission if an eligible action is completed through one of those links, at no extra cost to you. Affiliate compensation does not change our obligation to avoid misleading claims.

10. Intellectual property

The ExpertCodeFX name, website design, original text, graphics, videos, software, documentation and branding are owned by or licensed to ExpertCodeFX and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may view and print reasonable extracts for personal, non-commercial use, but no ownership rights transfer to you.

11. Warranties and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the website and general information are provided on an “as available” basis without promises of uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, profitability, fitness for a particular trading objective or compatibility with every third-party system.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ExpertCodeFX is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from use of the website or software, including trading loss, loss of opportunity, lost profits, broker action, prop-firm failure, data loss or platform downtime. This limitation does not apply where liability cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

12. Changes, severability and governing law

We may update these terms to reflect changes to the website, products, marketplaces or law. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are published. Continued use after an update means the revised terms apply from the stated effective date.

If part of these terms is unlawful or unenforceable, it will be read down or severed to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining terms will continue. These terms are governed by the laws of Australia, and applicable Australian courts may hear disputes, subject to mandatory consumer-law rights.
